Healthcare Professional to RN Bridge

Paramedics and LPNs may be admitted to a shortened Associate Degree Nursing curriculum with the following:
- Be eligible for admission to Darton College and the Associate Degree Nursing Program.
- Hold a valid Paramedic certification or LPN license with a minimum of one year of experience. Have earned 16 or
more credit hours of general education courses in the nursing curriculum including BIOL 2111 (Human Anatomy & Physiology 1) - achieving a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
This accelerated program begins B-Term of Fall semester each year and meets one day a week to incorporate classroom lecture, online activities, and clinical rotations.

3COMM 1000 or COMM 1110 will be required for all students whose initial enrollment in Darton College was from Fall Quarter 1993 forward. Those students initially enrolled prior to Fall 1993 may use either SPCH 1100 or ENGL 1102 to fulfill graduation requirements.
