The faculty are committed to student-centered teaching and learning. They provide an environment for individualized instruction. Faculty closely monitor students’ progress and advise them about their major and their career.
The School of Science, Mathematics, & Computing is a leader in using technology in the classroom. The division has acquired many grants for technology that enable students to experience a number of unique things such as using Tablet PCs in the classroom and a 3D projector that projects life like images of internal human organs. Computer science students get to program robots while learning programming concepts; Math, Physics and Pre-Engineering students use cutting edge software in their classes. Faculty use a variety of technologies for their online classes to enhance the student success rate.
