I. Using the GALILEO Databases find and write down information on Article Citation and Article  Availability for 2 articles; 1 on each of the following subjects:

   #1) Presidential Election
    #2) Problem of drugs in America

To answer this question:

A)    Go to GALILEO Databases (http://www.galileo.peachnet.edu/)

B)     SCROLL to the RIGHT &

C)    Click on Ebsco Host Databases

D)    Click on the Enter button  
( Enter Button) to choose Academic Search Premier:

READ THE HINT BELOW BEFORE DOING #2

FOR #2:
SEPARATE KEYWORDS (the large words such as problems, drugs, America) with an and. For example: searching for "Issues of Pollution in the Environment" you would use:  "issues and pollution and environment"

II. Do an Internet Search on the following 2 subjects using the LYCOS search engine.  For EACH of the 2 searches, write down the address (URL) for 2 web pages:

#2 Math Help

A. CLICK on the Internet Explorer Search Button button above the address bar

B. Type your first search: Study Skills in the box:

CLICK the ENTER button OR  Internet Explorer MSN Search Button

C. Click on one of the links and write down the address such as:
 

D. Click on another link and write down the 2nd address.

E. Type your second search: Math Help in the box:  

  and 
CLICK the ENTER button OR  Internet Explorer MSN Search Button

F. Click on one of the links and write down the first address then Click on another link and write down the 2nd web page address for Math Help.


III. Using the Darton Library Catalog (GIL), look up 2 books; 1 for each of the following topics and write down the Title, Author (if any or editor) and the call number for each of the 2 books:    

    #1 Attention Deficit Disorder   
   
#2 The depletion of the ozone layer
